We Do Predictive Data Analytics

The company's Defense Engineering/Software Development Division has been a leading pioneer in the development and applications in modeling, simulation, and analysis utilizing Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to develop software products and services for both government and commercial markets. The major focus of our business operations has been in the areas of probabilistic reasoning under uncertainty using Rule-based Expert Systems, Kalman Filters, Markov Chains, Bayesian Networks, Decision Networks/Influence Diagrams, Probabilistic Relational Models, Neural Networks and other advanced statistical techniques as core technologies. We have developed two general-purpose custom modeling tools for constructing these applications:  1) SOU and 2) SPORE

SOU is used to propagate the effects of intervals and probability distributions of uncertainty specified for both provided evidence and Conditional Probability Table (CPT) parameters in Bayesian Networks, and Utility Tables in Decision Networks.

SPORE, which contains algorithms and methodologies for the acquisition and integration of mixed logical and probabilistic knowledge and merges the state-of-the-art techniques in both logical and probabilistic reasoning, through the complement of the Knowledge Machine (KM) and Probabilistic Relational Models (PRMs) languages, as well as probabilistic reasoning of multiple agents for decision-making as represented by Networks of Influence Diagrams (NIDs).

Job Cost Accounting Software

The GCAS job cost system is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the small business government contractor, as well as accounting firms with clients performing government-oriented or project-oriented contracts.

Why pay 10 to 100 times more for the same job cost accounting capabilities? Experience significant cost savings as you better control operating costs, increase labor efficiency, support DCAA audits, monitor company cash flow, and effectively manage individual project costs. Government Job Cost Accounting Vs. Commercial Cost Accounting

Commercial job cost accounting systems fall short of satisfying the requirements of government contracting because they lack four basic features required in government job cost accounting:

  • Full cost concept
  • Allocation of indirect costs to multiple pools
  • Treatment of unallowable expenses which are required for cost-reimbursable contracts
  • Special treatment of research and development (R&D) and bid & proposal (B&P) expenses

The GCAS Job Cost Accounting Software Performs the Following Main Functions:

  • General Ledger
  • Human Resource/Labor Master
  • Labor Distribution of Time Sheets
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Report Generation
  • Direct Deposit/Check Processing
  • Multistate Payroll
  • Job Costing
  • Project Budgeting and Tracking
  • Cost/Profit Center Reporting
  • Work-in-Process Tracking
  • Custom Report Generation
  • Accounts Payable
  • Purchasing PRs and POs
  • Accounts Receivable Invoicing and Tracking
  • Automatic Government 1035 Creation
  • Realtime Pool Rate Calculation
  • Automatic Allocation of Indirect Costs

To enforce financial integrity and processing efficiency, the system is designed with fully integrated modules that eliminate redundant data entry, simplify information sharing, and streamline billing to dramatically improve cash flow. When an entry is made in a module, the system automatically updates all the affected modules.

GCAS' sophisticated relational, multidimensional database management system is one of the most powerful and fastest solutions for entering (just once), sorting, storing, and retrieving your accounting data. Quick and easy retrieval of data to answer critical financial, cost accounting, and project management questions.

Stop performing advanced job cost analysis by hand, and instead employ the dynamic simplicity and flexibility of the GCAS system. Seamlessly integrated modules allow project management and accounting staff to track and report data to meet their specific needs with drill-down capabilities.
